SALT PAN HOUSE

Fifty years ago, the salt industry was
abandoned, and more than 100 houses
were left in the southern part of the natural
park. Despite their small size, they still
remind people of the salt industry in Piran.
I want to transform one of the remaining
ruins, first by strengthening and protecting it
on the basis of the original ruins. Secondly,
because there are rare birds in the park:
little terns, so I transformed the ruins into a
bird habitat research station for researchers
to rescue and study little terns
